Questions
What was the latest Express Entry draw?
Round #447, on October 1, 2026: Trades Occupations, 2026-Version 3. IRCC sent 3,500 invitations, and the lowest-ranked candidate invited had a CRS score of 476.
How often are Express Entry draws held?
IRCC held 76 rounds between October 14, 2025 and October 1, 2026, about 6.3 a month, often several in the same week. It doesn’t announce rounds in advance.
What is the CRS cut-off for the Canadian Experience Class?
The latest Canadian Experience Class round, on September 29, 2026, invited scores of 518 or more. Over the last 12 months, CEC cut-offs ranged from 507 to 533.
What CRS score do I need for a French-language draw?
French-language proficiency rounds invite candidates with NCLC 7 or more in all four French skills. Their cut-offs ranged from 382 to 420 over the last 12 months; the latest, on August 19, 2026, was 382.
Is 350 a good CRS score?
It would have been enough in 3 of the 76 rounds of the last 12 months, all of them small rounds for Physicians with Canadian work experience. Most candidates with 350 raise their score first, often through language results, French or Canadian work experience.
Is 500 a good CRS score?
Not quite for the Canadian Experience Class: none of its 22 rounds in the last 12 months went below 507. It is enough for most category rounds, if you are eligible: French-language rounds invited 382 to 420, and healthcare and trades rounds 462 to 477.
Why are provincial nominee cut-offs so high?
A provincial nomination adds 600 points, so provincial nominee rounds (only for candidates with a nomination) had cut-offs of 697 to 805. Without the nomination, that is about 97 to 205.
What does the tie-breaking rule mean?
When several candidates have the lowest score invited, IRCC invites those who submitted their Express Entry profile before the date and time shown for that round. Candidates with the same score who submitted later were not invited.
How many invitations has IRCC sent in 2026?
135,215 invitations in 59 rounds from January 1 to October 1, 2026, counting every type of round.
